The McSweeney’s Joke Book of Book Jokes  by the editors of McSweeney’s

I enjoyed this collection of humorous short writings of a literary nature.  Not every entry will make you chuckle, but if you are well-read or even a little bit pop-culturally aware, you will find something to laugh at.  I liked ”The Recruitment of Harry Potter,” a memo written by his hoping-to-be Quidditch college coach, and “Possible Titles for Future Sue Grafton Novels after She Runs Out of Letters” (stuff like “/” is for Slash and “Ctrl+>” is for Cut.)  Pick and choose the entries you like; life is too short to take your books too seriously.
