The Very Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons by Frankie Valli

Has anyone else seen the musical, Jersey Boys?  If so then perhaps it reignited your interest in The Four Seasons as it did mine.  After attending the musical I checked out the cd, The Very Best of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

Honestly, is there a better way to start the day than by rocking out “Walk Like A Man” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry”?  I remember some of the tunes coming over the tiny speakers at the public pool or the AM radio in Mom’s old Impala.

Fortunately the cd sound is much better and the harmonies are as beautiful as ever.  Many of the songs were written by Four Season, Bob Gaudio, who started his career by writing the song “Short Shorts”.

This CD is a fun and nostalgic trip back to one’s youth.
