Deliver Us From Evil (2007) directed by Amy Berg
The excellent documentary film Deliver Us From Evil chronicles sexual and spiritual abuse by Roman Catholic priest Oliver O’Grady, who was eventually convicted and served seven years in prison before being deported to Ireland.
As Claudi Puig of USA Today said, “It should be seen by people of all faiths and by anyone concerned about the well-being of children.”
This was one of five films nominated for the Academy Award for Documentary Feature in 2006, the year An Inconvenient Truth won.
The DVD’s special features are enlightening. The film is not rated, and the running time is 103 minutes.

It is also worth noting that Oliver O’Grady was removed from the Roman Catholic priesthood. He is no longer a practicing clergyman and for that we are grateful.
